I'm known as Naira (Pronounced "Ny-ra"), though my real name is Jessie Strickland. I was born in 1990 and I live in Melbourne, Australia. I am primarily a digital artist, using Photoshop CS5 and a Wacom Intuos 5. I have been doing private freelance commission work for around 3 years now. My main clients have been fans of anthropomorphic and fantasy creatures as well as friends and family. However I wish to get into the professional industry and work on book illustrations mostly in fantasy and children's book genre, and perhaps someday work for video and computer game companies.
