This animation shows a surreal, symbolic drawing from start to finish. I used regular pencils (HB, 2B, 3B) for the most part, and some details with coloured pencils (Art Grip), on Bristol board, size A4. Seven hours of work spent with the drawing, a lot more with the video:

Since I did not have a video cam, but still wanted to see for myself and show others what it looks like when I draw, I scanned the paper every fifth to fifteenth minute. My scanner is an old crappy one, but I did what I could to enhance the colouring and shading in PS. After that I animated the 42 pictures in Flash. That work took quite some time…
