S. Fisher Williams
Sean Fisher Williams grew up on a steady diet of cartoons, comics, horror movies, toys and exploring Martian landscapes with imaginary friends. Drawing his entire life, his recognizable style didn’t take shape until his early adult life, where these childhood influences were folded into the Southern Gothic voice of the years spent living in Louisville, Kentucky. Together they create images that are both tragic as well as humorous, as static slices of untold narratives, lost lullabyes or forgotten fairy tales.
Fisher’s work has appeared on rock posters, albums, alternative newspapers and magazines as well as haunting the walls of small venues and galleries in several states. He has published two books of illustrated story-lines and over a dozen of short-run mini comics. Continuing to draw every single day, Fisher still makes time for cartoons, comics, horror movies, toys and exploring Martian landscapes with imaginary friends. He does so now from his home in Denver, Colorado.
